This blog is a place where information coming from the Cochranian Wiccan community in the South-East of England and to a lesser extent elsewhere in the world can be found.
The term 'the horses mouth' is derived from our lineaged tradition of the horse-headed stang, which performs an oracular function at the winter solstice. In Cochranianism the central icon, the forked stick, or stang, is referred to as 'The Horse'. The Horse's Mouth is the voice of many of those who carry the stang in rituals.
